The 2024 Etna climate featured a moderately rainy autumn and winter, a dry spring, and a hot summer with rare but intense rain events.
The harvest of Nerello Mascalese, which began on September 23rd thanks to the perfect ripening of the grapes, has given the wine great personality and savoriness. The manual harvest, with a selection of clusters on the vine, has preserved the
integrity of the fruit.
Upon arrival at the winery, the crates are manually unloaded, and the grape bunches are destemmed. Inside the so press, the must macerates in contact with its skins to extract part of the color, giving the wine a delicate blush pink hue. At the end of fermentation, the wine remains in contact with its own yeasts for at least 4 months before being bottled.
Delicate dusty pink color.
Wild strawberry notes accompanied by exotic fruit and citrus aromas, with hints of violet.
Enveloping, with a refreshing touch of freshness and savoriness characteristic of the territory.
Ideal with raw sh and medium-aged cheeses. Also excellent paired with white meats and legume soups.
