A vintage extremely rich in spring rains and thunderstorms in August. Ripening was slightly early, with grapes rich in acidity and phenolic compounds.
Hand-harvested at perfect ripeness from September 17th to 21st.
De-stemming, maceration at 26- 28 Ā°C for 8 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.

Aged for one year in Slavonian oak casks. Over a year in TroncĢ§ais and Allier barriques with medium-light toasting.

Aged in bottle at controlled temperature since June 1996.
Deep, intense, and brilliant garnet with ruby highlights.
An expression of oenological wisdom and evolutionary balance.
Vertical, it ignites the soul with hints of flint. Spicy small red fruits bring vibrancy to a sharp, tannic power on the palate.
Excellent with red meats, medium-aged cheeses and tasty dishes.
Ideal as a meditation wine.
