Duca Enrico 1990, tasted after two decades, surprises with a rich impact of spicy scents, of wilted rose and ripe cherry, and balsamic hints, which enrich its olfactory complexity. The palate is elegant but with still rough tannins, heralding an interesting future.

The 1990 vintage was marked by extremely dry and warm weather.
By hand, at full ripening from 23 to 30 September.
De-stemming, maceration at 26- 28 Ā°C for 8 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.

At least 18 months ageing in fine oak casks in which it develops its complexity, style and ageability.

Refinement since September 2008, in the bottle at controlled temperature.
Noto red.
Leather and tobacco have aged harmoniously in unison.
Horizontal tasting reveals organoleptic qualities. Warm Marasca cherries leave a lingering taste on the palate.
Excellent with red meats, medium-aged cheeses and tasty dishes.
Ideal as a meditation wine.
