Made from the Frappato grape variety, with an elegant bouquet of roses and violets. This wine reflects all the distinctive features of the area where it is produced, which is also depicted on the label, making it the ideal choice for having a toast with friends.

climate

Sicily has experienced a dry autumn and winter, followed by a dry spring. The summer was hot with no rainfall.

 

 

Harvest

From the first week of September to the fourth week of September.

Vinification and Ageing

Aer the grapes arrive at the winery, the bunches are destemmed and transferred to fermentation tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in contact with the skins for about 15 days. After racking, malolactic fermentation follows. The wine then ages in tanks for at least 3 months and rests in the bottle for one month before release.

Tasting Notes & pairings

Vibrant red in colour with purple tinges.

A very complex bouque with floral aromas of rose and violet, along with notes of wild strawberry and blackberry.

It has an elegant and fresh taste, with soft, velvety tatnnins that leave a pleasant persistence.

It is ideal for a refreshing aperitif or a toast with friends, preferably served with fish or white meat dishes.
