Waiting for Halloween: 5 tips for a wicked cool party
The night of the witches is coming up! If you’re a trick-or-treat enthusiast and you’re always happy to join Halloween celebrations, why don’t you organize your own theme party?
There’s still time to think of all the details: add a bit of imagination to our ever-present 5 tips, and yours will definitely be a party worth screaming about!
#1: Within the boundless universe of witches, monsters and ghosts, choose a specific theme and communicate it to your guests: for example, get inspiration from a movie (like Tim Burton’s ones, or the Twilight saga), from a TV series (Buffy, The Addams Family, The Walking Dead) or, if the party will be open to kids, to the fairy tales villains.
#2: Make custom invitation cards and decorations: all you need is some coloured paper, cardboard, orange balloons, scissors, glue and spray spider webs to create the right atmosphere – and if you’re lacking ideas, search ” halloween decorations” on Google Images!
#3: Play an appropriate background music: switch between creepy sound effects like crackles, crows and evil laughs (you can find them on the Internet), horror movie soundtracks and organ music.
#4: Serve a rich and “scary” buffet: with some inventiveness, Vienna sausages, ketchup and melted cheese can remind of chopped fingers, canapes might have the shape of little ghosts and mini-pizzas could have eyes… made with mozzarella and black olives!
#5: To end with a bang, make a pumpkin cake or muffins: they’re delicious and easy to cook, and everyone will love them – especially with a glass of Florio Zibibbo!
