Wine Enthusiast awards Duca di Salaparuta for the work performed in the vineyards and wineries with excellent scores in its prestigious 2011 Buying Guide.
Duca di Salaparuta wines have obtained an important international acknowledgement from Wine Enthusiast that has awarded three 91 scores, four 90 scores and three Best Buys for Corvo. Duca Enrico, the wineries iconic product and an excellent expression of Nero d’Avola, received a score of 91 for its 2005 vintage and 90 for its 2006. Florio received excellent scores for Donna Franca (91), a superior marsala aged 15 years, and for Baglio Florio (91). Corvo Rosso 2009 and Corvo Bianco received particularly important Best Buy mentions; both wines are classics for everyday drinking and are characterised by their unmistakable personality, pleasantness and excellent value for money – perfect wines for any occasion.
