The business started by Giuseppe was carried on by his son Edoardo, who driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit, built the Castaldaccia Winery and increased the production of Corvo to 100.000 bottles, exporting them from Sicily to be sold all over the world. Fired by the passion for innovation that drove his father, Edoardo equipped the Winery with cutting edge tools, such as the four-spout presses for removing the free-run must that he imported from France. He also consulted a well-known French oenologist and managed to further improve the quality of his products, which were already winning prizes at the most important international shows of the time in Bordeaux, London, Paris, Marseilles and Rome.
